Our bed and breakfast is located at the entrance to the Pyhrn-Priel vacation region. This invites you to mountaineering, hiking and mountain biking. From here you can start exciting and interesting excursions by car, bike, but also on foot.

Within a very short time you can reach the Salzkammergut with its beautiful bathing lakes, such as the Traunsee and Attersee, the Mondsee, or Fuschlsee or Wolfgangsee.

Directly in front of our pension you can enter the well-developed, Upper Austrian bike path network and thus, plan more or less strenuous day trips.Possibly you are planning a club or group outing. On request, we can also organize a bike rental.

The Cistercian Abbey of Schlierbach is known far beyond its borders for its cheese delicacies and the glass art of the local stained glass.

Guided tours of the monastery and the stained glass gallery are offered here. But a highlight is the 1st Austrian show dairy, where you can watch how cheese is made.

At the final cheese tasting in the Genußzentrum you will also enjoy a magnificent view of the Kremstal.

The hiking trail "On the trail of cheese" offers interesting and exciting information about cheese and whets the appetite for cheese enjoyment.

A special highlight is 3D archery. In Nußbach, there is a course for this with an area of about 6 hectares. It's amazing what you can cleverly fit in there.

It starts in a small forest, along the stream (brook), then goes through a meadow to the manor and back to the shooting hall. Every day and in any weather you can experience a few exciting hours of 3D archery. 28 animal replicas set with finesse guarantee a lot of fun and excitement.

The distances are placed from very close to yet about 55 m. Even - listen and be amazed - uphill and downhill shots are possible in this nevertheless flat terrain. Variety guaranteed.

When the arrow is gone, you have the hang of it

The spa in Bad Hall has a long history rich in tradition. As early as 777, the "Quelle am Sulzbach" was mentioned for the first time in the foundation charter of the Kremsmünster monastery.

Today Bad Hall is the only one of the spas in Austria where iodine brine is used for beauty and health. Relaxation is guaranteed in the Mediterrana thermal world and the Relaxium sauna world.

Visit the Bad Hall spa park with its imaginatively planted flower beds and themed gardens such as the shade garden, rose garden and villa garden.

Natural pond, large biotope, many exotic woods, children's playgrounds.

In only one kilometer distance to our bike-friendly bed and breakfast you can enter the Krems Valley cycle path R10. The route begins in Klaus and follows the Krems from its source to the mouth of the Traun.

First you cycle past Micheldorf. Finally the big monasteries follow, first Schlierbach and then Kremsmünster. Stately square farms line your way through the foothills of the Alps. At your destination you have access to the Traunradweg.

In connection with the Steyrtalradweg R8 a beautiful circular route of about 60 km results.

Another connection to the Upper Austrian cycle path network is the Traunviertlerweg R13.

We are the meeting point of 2 regions, which have already provided the images for many a life transmission into the world or material for a television film with their uniqueness. On the one hand the Pyhrn Priel region with the Ski World Cup in Hinterstoder, on the other hand the Salzkammergut with many crystal clear lakes, such as the Traunsee or Attersee and the setting for several TV movies.

Dare to jump into the cool water in summer or wobble down the tracks of the skiing elite in winter - decide for yourself!

You can visit the monasteries of Schlierbach and Kremsmünster, or you can visit one of the numerous museums and explore the life and tradition of the "Black Counts" - as the lords of the rich scythe and hammer-smith dynasties were called.
